Nine assemblies. One sacred heart. One Member.

Fatehgarh Sahib — the place of the Sahibzadas.
The constituency takes its name from the town of Fatehgarh Sahib, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in the Sikh tradition. In December 1704, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh (aged nine) and Sahibzada Fateh Singh (aged seven) — the younger sons of the tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji — were martyred on the orders of the Mughal governor Wazir Khan.
Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib stands today at the site of their martyrdom. Every December, the Shaheedi Jor Mela draws lakhs of pilgrims from across India and the global Sikh diaspora. The town's gravity — moral, historical, spiritual — shapes the constituency in a way that numbers alone cannot capture.
This website treats the heritage of Fatehgarh Sahib with the reverence it deserves. It is never instrumentalised for political messaging.
Key issues being worked on.
- 01
Water and irrigation
Groundwater depletion across central Punjab is severe; MSP-linked crop diversification and micro-irrigation are central to the long-term fix.
- 02
Khanna grain market & industry
Asia's largest grain mandi sits here. Logistics, cold chain, and procurement policy matter to every farmer and trader in the belt.
- 03
Halwara Airport
A long-awaited civilian airport at Halwara — once operational, it will shift the economic geography of the Ludhiana-Khanna-Sirhind corridor.
- 04
Drug abuse
The Punjab drug crisis touches every assembly segment. Federal coordination with state enforcement remains a priority issue on the floor of the House.
- 05
Scheduled Caste welfare
33% of the constituency is SC. MPLADS allocations, reservation-linked schemes, and targeted infrastructure investment are calibrated to this reality.

Per-segment pages with project-level data for each of the nine assemblies are being compiled. Until then, the office can be reached for segment-specific queries.
